Cardboard Cowboy

When they first discovered Twitch as a viewer, the creator behind Cardboard_Cowboy noticed a key part of what made streaming so compelling—the audience’s attachment and investment in the streamer’s life and narrative. Their life events and goals became real-time stakes for the audience, allowing them to emotionally invest in these people. So, along came Cardboard Cowboy, his trusty steed Douglas, and a buffet of characters for viewers to invest in and connect with through stories presented in a real-time serialized fashion. Past stories have included Cowboy being stuck in a well, a zombie wombat invasion, and a chat-driven love story between supporting characters Garth and Jerry, all while using custom assets that utilize dozens of tools and software to pull off. There are no other creators in the space doing what CBC does daily.
